Arguing

A : Do you know that Susan has been gossiping about you behind your back?
B : That’s really hitting below the belt!
A : I had an argument with Susan yesterday.
B : Did you make up?

A : Why did you turn a cold shoulder to Tom?
B : He stood me up last night.
A : That’s one of those things. Look at the bright side.
B : Put yourself in my shoes.

A : Come on, Susan. Don’t beat around the bush anymore. Why don’t you give it to me straight?
B : I’ll level with you. I don’t like you.
A : I think we just don’t have the right chemistry between us. So I don’t want to see you again.
B : You can’t do this to me. You’ll pay for this.
A : Why the long face?
B : I broke wp with her.
